Principal's message
Welcome to Brookvale Public School.
Brookvale is a warm and welcoming public school with a strong sense of community, high expectations and a deep commitment to knowing and supporting every child. We are proud to create a school environment where students feel safe, happy and ready to learn.
At Brookvale, strong teaching sits at the heart of what we do. Our teachers provide explicit teaching, rich learning experiences and carefully planned support so students can grow in confidence, develop their strengths and strive for their personal best.
From the first days of Kindergarten through to the leadership opportunities of Year 6, we want every student to feel they belong and have something valuable to contribute. We value the strong partnership we share with our families and the positive community that surrounds our school.

Starting Kindergarten
At Brookvale Public School, we make the first year of school feel happy, welcoming and successful. Our Kindergarten students are supported to build friendships, confidence, routines and a genuine love of learning. We combine explicit teaching with play, wellbeing support and strong family partnerships so children feel safe, settled and ready to learn. Every child is known, encouraged and supported as they take their first steps into school life. This strong start helps our youngest learners feel proud to belong at Brookvale.
ACE Pathways
ACE Pathways reflects Brookvale Public School’s commitment to high expectations, academic challenge and opportunity for every learner. Through adjustment, challenge and enrichment, students are supported to learn at the right level and grow with confidence. Our Academic Extension, Academic Enrichment, Academic Growth and Opportunity Class pathways provide clear structures for recognising potential and supporting achievement. Students are encouraged to think deeply, work creatively and strive for their personal best. ACE Pathways is one way we continue to strengthen public education and create rich learning opportunities within our school community.
Learning and support
At Brookvale Public School, every child is supported to access learning, build confidence and experience success. Our learning and support approach is built around knowing students well and working closely with families, teachers and support staff. Students may receive classroom adjustments, targeted intervention, wellbeing support, extension opportunities or additional guidance from our learning and support team. We focus on each child’s strengths, needs and next steps so support is practical, personal and meaningful. This helps students grow academically, socially and emotionally as valued members of our school community.
