Technology
In addition to the Smartboard computer technology in every classroom, each class has 8 additional computers for student use. The ease of computer access within the classroom means that computer technology is not only used to provide whole class learning experiences, through teacher directed Smartboard activities, but small group and independent experiences as computers can be used in Maths and Literacy group rotations. Our school subscribes to Reading Eggs/Eggspress (Years K-6) and Mathletics (Years 1-6) to provide students with opportunities to consolidate their Literacy and Numeracy skills both within the classroom and at home.
Wireless internet operates throughout the school.
iPad
Every class at Brookvale Public School has access to a class set of iPads. iPad technology is integrated across the curriculum and provides students with opportunities to, not only develop their ICT skills but, demonstrate their learning in new and unique ways.
