Email communication has today been sent to parents of children and accompanying staff who attended an excursion to the cinemas at Warringah Mall on Wednesday 16 December between 9.20am and 12.50pm. NSW Health have advised that if anyone visited the mall between 10.40am and 1.40pm, they should monitor for symptoms.
Based on the advice from NSW Health, children and staff who attended the excursion are considered a casual contact and have requested that they get tested immediately and self-isolate until they receive a negative result.
Please monitor for symptoms such as a fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss of smell/taste, muscle/joint pains, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting or extreme tiredness.
If children or staff develop these symptoms (no matter how mild), please see a doctor or go to a COVID-19 testing clinic to be tested again (see details below).
Advice and resources are available on the NSW Health website including advice for casual contacts or further information about COVID-19.
Further information on COVID-19 is available on the NSW Health website.
